Rhythmicon – Rain Falls and Thunder Rolls [Mixset]
April 17, 2009 at 9:49 pm 9 comments

“I was asked by Fractal to do a mix for his label’s “Tide Pool is Love” show, hosted on Proton Radio. This is that mix.
Somewhere along the road, I seemed to have developed a habit of making themed mixes featuring unreleased work. My goal here was to create an atmospheric “headphone” style blend, with emphasis on layering and progression. It starts with some downtempo melodies, then briefly hints at touches of dub, jungle, and garage. The mood shifts as it journeys into deeper minimal territory, then finishes with some eclectic bits. It’s hand-mixed with digital vinyl; virtually all unreleased dubs from a variety of artists. You are encouraged to re-post this mix!
I enjoyed making it. I hope you enjoy listening to it.”

I hope to have understood well. You say what the song is to the minute 25 30, with voice of woman, I believe to have understood, but I don’t understand if you spoke to me of my DJ Set “Ave Fenix” or if you spoke of anything of different.
The name of the song calls “Changes” and it is of MALA.I send you a link so you can unload it to you, I hope that is that, if it is not it tell me him.

[...] Why wait for the rain when you can have all the downpour and thunder roll off on the low end of your home stereo. Moody deep and ultimately mellowing this atmospheric dubstep mix from Rhythmicon makes a nice calling card for the whole Pacific dubstep crew. rhythmicon-rain-falls-and-thunder-rolls-mixset [...]
